Join us for the 2024 Eichelberger concert season of 44 FREE concerts at the Levitt Pavilion Dayton!

This year we celebrate the new Reggae Amplified night sponsored by the City of Dayton (formerly known as the City of Dayton Reggae Festival). Now the team at Levitt Dayton has taken over the programming and curation of these events, adding them to their summer concert season. The three Amplified concerts will be held on three Saturdays and begin at 5:30 p.m. instead of the normal 7 p.m. concert start time and feature a DJ, two openers and a headliner, amplifying blues, funk and Reggae genres of music.

Note: This show originally featured The Wailing Souls. Unfortunately, due to health issues in the band, The Wailing Souls had to cancel, so now The Itals will be headlining Reggae Amplified!

Headliner:

The Itals

The Itals are a Jamaican reggae vocal group formed in 1976 by Alvin “Keith” Porter, Lloyd Ricketts, and Ronnie Davis(formerly a member of The Tennors), all of whom had previously also recorded as solo artists. All three had worked together in the late 1960s in The Westmorelites. The group recorded several albums through the late 1970s and 1980s, with Ronnie Davis going on to a successful solo career in 1997 as Ronnie Davis and Idren.
