The King: Music of Elvis

Since Elvis Presley burst onto the scene, American music has never been the same. This July, Dayton Philharmonic brings the music of Elvis to the Mead Theater in a celebration of the King’s best-loved hits. Four Broadway-veteran singers join our own Patrick Reynolds and the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra in a "Jersey Boys"–style program that emphasizes the musicality and breadth of the songwriting. This is not an impersonator show but rather a splashy revue featuring various vocal interpretations spotlighting best-known tunes including hits like  "Heartbreak Hotel," "Love Me Tender," "Don’t Be Cruel," and "Hound Dog,"

Shake, rattle and roll with us for this memorable evening.
