Dr. Clarence T. Plump, Pastor of The Word Pentecostal Assemblies of God Church along with his members are having a Tornado Relief new toy give away Saturday, June 15th from 9 am until new toy supply runs out. The Word Pentecostal Assemblies of God Church is a 501(c3) charitable organization located in Dayton at 3401 W. Siebenthaler Avenue. The Church is concerned with children frightened by the recent tornadoes, and just want to be a blessing. Members of the church has already distributed several hundred new toys to families affected by the storms. The church was named in 2011 Toy Distribution site of the year in Montgomery County by a national toy distributor (DDN Writer Marie Kriedman-2011). The Church building houses a STAR rated Childcare Center, the Preschool Promise Initiative, Children's Summer Feeding Program, the Summer Youthworks Job Training Program and a Girl Scouts Troop.
