Self-defense Class with FonDana
The FonDana Show continues its purpose-driven mission with domestic violence awareness month this October. The show has teamed up with Total Taekwondo & Fitness in Kettering to raise more awareness and empowerment through learning self-defense. A special episode with Fonda and Dana learning self-defense is streaming all of October and the public is invited to take a self-defense class.
The FonDana Show is a collaboration with The Rubi Girls, and premiered this year on Nearu TV, a locally-based streaming platform, where viewers have been able to watch two of Dayton’s biggest iconic Drag Queens Fonda Peters and Dana Sintell, two of the founding members of Dayton’s legendary RubiGirls, as they join forces and explore local people and places with their signature flare for mayhem with a purpose.
Episodes feature local entrepreneurs, experiences and nonprofits, whom Fonda and Dana will have the opportunity to interview and participate in hands-on experiences that can only be described as mayhem with a purpose. Viewers can access The FonDana Show on NearuTV.com for free.
The public is invited to participate in a self-defense class alongside Dayton drag queens October 23 at 3:00pm. Registration is required prior to the event and a portion of funds will go to support Artemis Domestic Violence Center.
