The U.S. News & World Report analyzed the nation’s 125 largest metropolitan areas to find the best places to live, and has confirmed what we already knew - The Gem City is one of the best places to live in the country.
"When deciding on a place to settle down, it's important to understand that where a person lives can impact their well-being," Executive Editor Kim Castro said in a statement. "The top-ranked places are areas where citizens can feel the most fulfilled socially, physically and financially."
The magazine ranked areas based on a city's desirability, the local job market, and quality of life, using sources like the US Census Bureau, the FBI, and the Department of Labor. Austin, Texas took the top spot, followed by Colorado Springs and Denver, Colorado.
In Ohio, Dayton came in at No. 82, a little behind Cincinnati (49), but well ahead of Toledo (102), Cleveland (104) and Youngstown (108).
