Nate Washington at Wiley's Comedy Joint
Nate Washington was bitten by the comedy bug at a young age. Born in the Windy City and raised in Dayton, OH He actually got his first taste of being on stage and in front of a crowd as a member of a local rap group. With a witty, sarcastic, sometimes dry delivery, Nate is able to make keen and hilarious observations about life in the midwest. He attributes his time spent in his grandparents Chicago basement listening to Pryor albums and his maternal grandfathers sense of humor and love of Delta Blues as the stones that sharpened his comedic skills. After bursting on the scene in Daytons Legendary Wiley's Comedy Club to a packed house, Nate has performed in clubs all over Ohio and Indiana. He was last years winner of the Wileys Comedy Fireworks contest beating out 100 comics from the tri-state area. And has worked with the likes of Auggie Smith, Tommy Davidson, and Roy Wood Jr. With his relatively short career in comedy, he posseses the confidence and stage presence of a well seasoned veteran that is easy to see in every performance.
