A female comic on the rise, Carmen Lynch appeared twice on The Late Show with David Letterman and was a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing. She has also been on Inside Amy Schumer and entertained the troops several times in Iraq and Kuwait.
Getting to Know ... Carmen Lynch
If money was no object, what would you spend a whole day doing?
Checking my balance, because I wouldn’t believe I had that much money. Then probably on the beach, with friends. And there’d be lots of food and music. And horses.
What song or songs would be included on a soundtrack of your life?
That would be quite an embarrassing soundtrack to share with anyone. But for starters, “Let it Go” from Frozen and some 80’s rock ballads interspersed with current stuff.
What’s something you regret doing as a teenager?
Not running away. It always looked like fun, but I was too scared to do it.
What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Breaking up. It’s hard no matter who it is. It’s painful for everyone.
What’s been a nightmare experience on a date?
Panic attacks. Lots of them.
If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
Superman. I’ve always wanted to save people, but with little effort.
What self-accomplishment are you most proud of?
Doing stand-up is great, but I’m more proud that I stuck to it.
What’s your worst habit?
Second guessing myself. Even for the smallest things.
