Introduction to Dance Divination w/ Carla

Dance divination is a unique spiritual practice of receiving and interpreting supernatural messages, information, or insight while watching or engaging in channeled movement or divinely inspired dance. It is an observational practice that draws from the principles of dance composition, energetics, and other esoteric systems such as tarot and astrology.

Students will learn about the vast landscape of movement qualities, dynamics, and shapes, as well as the energy those things convey. We will explore the various ways that dance can manifest through the Clairs, helping to awaken your psychic senses. The workshop includes many different exercises to help activate your spiritual channel and strengthen your intuition. Each student will also have an opportunity to receive a personalized channeled movement transmission directly from Carla.

Workshop Content & Requirements:

This workshop consists mostly of lectures and labs, providing opportunities for observing and analyzing a wide array of dance and movement styles. Therefore, you do not need any dance experience to participate. Any dance or movement activities offered are optional and can be modified for those with limited mobility.

Please bring a journal and pen and wear comfy clothes you can move easily in (if you choose to participate in that way).

Carla White Crowe has more than two decades of professional experience as a business owner, artistic director, choreographer, and dance instructor. However, her passion lies at the intersection of modern dance techniques and sacred dance practices. The Dancing Oracle combines her love of divination and movement. She provides tools and education on how to build a sacred dance practice, embody the energy of the cosmos, and channel spiritual insight with movement. Her services include intuitive readings that utilize channeled movement, tarot, oracle, and astrology.
