The ancient, wise, and timeless guidance of Ayurveda reminds us that we are microcosms of the macrocosm. That the cycles of the sun + the moon aren’t just happening outside of us, but also within us. Do you feel connected to them?

In this workshop we will be exploring the role of the Sun (Surya) within our human experience- both as it manifests in the natural rhythms of our Earth and within us as a critical building block, process, and spiritual experience.

Through discussion + experiential practice you will develop a deeper understanding of what Ayurveda is, how it supports every aspect of our lives, and clear steps on how to begin putting wisdom into practice.

In our time together we will:

Explore our unique elemental blueprint through the 5 elements and 3 doshas and discover what our personal blueprint looks like (and what to do with that information!)

Apply what we learn about the doshas to the greater cycles of nature through the solar cycles of daily circadian rhythms and seasonal wheel

Connect with our inner Sun: our Agni (metabolic fire) and Manipura Chakra with experiential practices to awaken this golden, radiant center

Discuss ways we can protect, nurture, and kindle our Agni- a key to longevity and sustained well-being

Craft daily rituals and practices in harmony with the the rhythms of nature that will entrain us to balance and support us no matter the challenges and changes of life

Enjoy an Ayurvedic tea station during our intermission

Recommendations: Bring a notebook, writing utensil, curious mind + open heart. Wear comfortable clothing that you can sit and breathe comfortably within.
