Memory Cafe - What You Should Know About Long-Term Care
Meet Lawrence "Chip" Wilkins, Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program Director. These ombudsmen are advocates for residents of nursing homes, board and care homes and assisted living facilities. They provide information about how to find a facility and what to do to get quality care. They are trained to resolve problems. If you want, the ombudsman can assist you with complaints. Come learn more about this valuable (and free) service available to residents of Montgomery County. The program is free, but registration is required to ensure adequate seating.
