Kathryn Pitstick
Kathryn Pitstick attended the University of Cincinnati's Fine Arts program and graduated with a BFA from Wright State University. She's inspired to work from nature because of the emotion and energy she receive from her surroundings. Kathryn stands in awe of the rhythm, interaction and vastness in plein air environment. She searches for a sense of organization of chaos in the complexity of her subject. Her body of work encompasses printmaking, painting, and photos. Delicate details, abstraction, and sometimes ambiguity are found in her compositions. Kathryn has exhibited locally, regionally, and internationally.

Introducing...
The purpose of the workshop series, Introducing..., is to acquaint DSA members and the community to different mediums and methods in the visual arts. In conjunction, the attendees will get to know the instructing artist, their background, and tips and tricks of their trade. The fee goes to compensate the artists’ time, so by attending you’ll not only gain knowledge in a specific medium, but you’ll also be supporting local artists!
