Beaver Valley Cinemas demolished

Beaver Valley CinemasThe Beaver Valley Cinemas, just off of Rt 35 in Beavercreek, opened in 1977 and closed in 2001.

The six screen theatre was originally part of Midstates Theatres. In 1985 it was sold to USA Cinemas, which later became part of Loew’s Theatres. In December 1999, the theater was sold to Side Line Theatres, who closed the doors in April, 2001.

The complex reopened as "The Bargain Box Office" some 4 years later in 2005, but with limited success.  It closed again briefly in 2007 before reverting back to the "Beaver Valley Cinemas" name.

Beaver Valley Cinemas ceased operations for the final time in September, 2009.  The demolition began last week and is expected to be completed soon.
