Members of the public will be able to walk inside the Arcade in downtown Dayton this weekend for the first time since the historic complex closed in 1990. The Arcade promises to be a popular stop on the free Downtown Dayton Housing Tour.
Cross Street Partners, The Model Group, and McCormack Baron Salazar plan to transform the “dead mall” into a mixed-use facility that includes housing, retail and innovation space. Visitors will get a behind the scenes look at the first phase of redevelopment, which will include residential units and the rotunda space.
The housing tour also includes a variety of homes from renovated warehouse lofts to brand new apartments and townhomes. A free shuttle will be provided.
